Hot Repair Cement is a hot-applied polymer modified resin based flexible concrete repair material. Used to repair cracks, spalls, pop-outs, failed joint sand most types of defects in concrete surfaces. Hot Repair Cement is a gray color, similar to surfaces it is applied to, and aesthetically suitable in all concrete pavements. Hot Repair Cement is used in highway, street, road, parking lot, bridge decks, airport taxiways and runways, and other concrete pavement surfaces. The unique design features of Hot Repair Cement produce an impervious, impact resistant; load bearing, flexible repair that withstands vehicle traffic, aircraft movements and climatic conditions. Hot Repair Cement is supplied in powder / granular form in meltable bags. To use, bags of Hot Repair Cement are placed in an appropriate approved heating unit, and then melted, mixed and heated to the required installation temperature. The melted material is then poured into the prepared pavement section and leveled. The repair is then covered with specific surfacing aggregate. The repair is allowed to cool and solidify prior to opening to traffic.
